Rainbow Kitten Surprise have announced their first new album in six years.
The North Carolina quartet will release the 22-track 'Love Hate Music Box' on May 10 via Elektra Entertainment. The follow-up to 2018's 'How To: Friend, Love, Freefall' was produced by Daniel Tashian, Konrad Snyder and Melo, and notably features country star Kacey Musgraves on the song Overtime.
As a preview, the group have shared the record's lead single, Superstar, which builds to a catchy chorus and finds them leaning more into the pop edge of their indie-rock sound. It comes with a video directed by Matthew DeLisi. A second teaser track, in the form of the more subdued and airy LOL has also been unveiled. Press play below.
The band is expected to announce North American tour dates soon.
