JXDN has announced the When The Music Stops Tour.
The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter will be hitting the road in support of his new album, 'When The Music Stops', which is due for release on June 28 through Travis Barker’s DTA Records. He said:
“What do I hear when the music stops? I heard silence like I had never heard before. I heard an emptiness that overtook me. I missed the music of my life, I missed the safety it gave me. I had lost my love for the feeling. I went to hell and back since my last album. I questioned myself, I questioned my music, and I questioned life and its purpose. And through all that, I heard faint sounds ever so often that resembled a beautiful melody. They guided me through the silence back to the place I call home - the music. Keep listening, Keep holding on to tomorrow. Especially when you don’t hear anything anymore. Especially when the music stops. This one’s for. This one’s for you. This one’s for us.”
The record will feature JXDN's previously released singles What The Hell and the title track. Head below to check out the artwork and tracklist.
First he will embark on the North American leg of the tour, which will begin with a set at Summerfest in Milwaukee on July 4 and conclude in Los Angeles on July 27. Support will come from special guests LØLØ and GUNNAR.
The UK and European leg will follow this autumn, beginning on September 12 in Paris. It will include stops in London, Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin, where the tour will conclude at the 3Olympia Theatre on October 9.
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 2pm local time this Thursday (March 28). $1 from every ticket sold will go to The Coop’s Advice Foundation, a mental health and addiction-focused non-profit organisation founded following the passing of JXDN's best friend Cooper Noriega.
