Sam Morton Announces Debut Album 'Daffodils & Dirt' With New Single Let's Walk In The Night

Samantha Morton has announced her debut album.
The two-time Oscar-nominated actress and director has collaborated with producer and songwriter Richard Russell for the 12-track 'Daffodils & Dirt', due out through XL Recordings on June 14.
It'll feature a host of guests, including Alabaster DePlume, Laura Groves, Jack Peñate and Ali Campbell, who provides additional vocals on the track Broxtowe Girl.
Alongside the news, Morton has unveiled a self-directed video accompanying the new gentle ballad Let's Walk In The Night featuring DePlume. It follows the previously shared single Cry Without End in previewing the record.
Morton and Russell have scheduled a London show at the Institute of Contemporary Arts for June 20. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Thursday (March 28). Morton will also appear at End Of The Road Festival in August.
