Yellowcard have announced a UK and European tour commemorating 20 years of their fourth album, ’Ocean Avenue’. Yellowcard tickets go on sale at 10am local time today.
The pop-punk veterans will celebrate tracks such as Way Away, Only One and title track Ocean Avenue with nine shows, kicking off on November 12 at the O2 Academy Glasgow before stops in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and London.
Following the UK run, they’ll head to the Netherlands, Belgium and France, wrapping up the tour on November 24 in Germany. Lead singer Ryan Key commented:
"We know that our fans in Europe and the UK have been waiting for this announcement for a long time. We are so stoked to announce that not only are we coming to play shows in November, but we are also bringing the line-up from our 20 years of Ocean Avenue tour in the US last summer! Our good friends in Story of the Year and This Wild Life will be joining us for the tour. These are our first headlining shows in Europe since 2016 so don’t miss out!"
Support will come from St. Louis post-hardcore group Story Of The Year and California acoustic duo This Wild Life.
In February, Yellowcard teamed up with Nashville post-rock duo Hammock to release the collaborative LP ’A Hopeful Sign’, a collection of re-imagined Yellowcard songs.
