Embrace have announced a UK tour for the autumn.
The British indie giants have lined up shows in Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham, Oxford, Bristol, Southampton, Brighton, Norwich, London and Birmingham between November 14 and 30.
The trek will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2004 fourth studio album, 'Out Of Nothing', which debuted at number one on the UK Official Albums Charts, and went on to become the band's biggest selling album of their career to date.
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (April 26). Frontman Danny McNamara said:
"I really can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we released the album. It was such a key moment in the life of the band, and the lives of us as individuals. The band took day jobs to keep going, we had no choice, but we believed in ourselves, and we believed in the songs we were writing. That’s where the album title comes from, we had nothing, but out of that we were determined to build something great.
"The fact that we managed to do that, and the fact that the fans were still there for us when we came back after being dropped by Hut is what makes this album so special to us. We've waited 20 years to celebrate the record, now’s the time!"
The new dates will follow the group's previously scheduled summer shows, which include a performance at Leeds' Kirkstall Abbey, where they'll perform 'Out Of Nothing' for the first time, joined by special guests Ocean Colour Scene, Ash, Sleeper and CUD. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
Embrace released their latest album, 'How To Be A Person Like Other People', in 2022 via their own Mo’betta label through Townsend Music.
