Ed Sheeran has announced plans to celebrate 10 years of his sophomore album.
The British singer-songwriter will mark the milestone with the release of a special, expanded 10th anniversary edition of 'x' on June 21, 10 years to the date of its original release. Alongside the original tracklist, it'll feature nine bonus songs, including I See Fire and All Of The Stars, from the soundtracks of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Fault In Our Stars, respectively.
Originally released in 2014, 'x' spawned the singles Don't, Sing, Photograph and the multiple Grammy Award-winning Thinking Out Loud.
Sheeran has also announced a one-off show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on May 22, where he'll perform a special set reflecting his 'x (Wembley Edition)' release from 2015. Fans must register here before 11:59pm ET on Thursday (May 2) to be in with a chance of being selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets. Selected fans will be able to purchase tickets at 10am ET on Monday (May 6).
Sheeran will play Hard Rock Live, Hollywood in Florida on Friday (May 3) before headlining Boston Calling in Massachusetts on May 24, and BottleRock Napa Valley on May 26. He'll also top the bill at Lucca Summer Festival in Italy and Rock In Rio Lisboa in Lisbon as part of a run of summer European dates.
