Due to demand, Queens Of The Stone Age will play a second show for the Rock N Roll Circus gig series in Sheffield this summer.
The American rockers will now also headline the Don Valley Bowl on August 28, having sold out their previously announced and now sold-out performance on August 27.
Support on both dates will come from Viagra Boys, Jehnny Beth, Big Freedia and So Good, following openers Fat Dog and The Bug Club on night one, and Shame, The Murder Capital and Demob Happy on night two. Tickets are on sale now. Rock N Roll Circus festival director, Ali O'Reilly commented:
"The response to Queens of the Stone Age’s first show was incredible. Tickets flew out in record time, and we are excited to give fans another chance to get tickets to see this huge show.
"It’s an honour to bring one of the greatest rock bands of our generation to Sheffield for not just one, but two nights at Rock N Roll Circus. With support from Viagra Boys and The Murder Capital, these shows are going to be something truly special."
On the event, which combines a festival-style experience with live music and the energy of a travelling circus, Ali added: "There’s nothing else quite like Rock N Roll Circus. It’s more than a gig; it’s a full-throttle, immersive experience that transports fans into a world of electrifying performance and raw musical energy. Queens of the Stone Age tearing it up under the big top, surrounded by the madness of the circus, is going to be amazing."
Organisers previously announced that Reverend and The Makers will headline the weekender on August 30, with support from Groove Armada, Peter Doherty and Carl Barat, Lottery Winners, and more.
A sister event will also take place at Norwich's Earlham Park for the first time this year, with headliners McFly on August 14, Courteeners on August 15 and Olly Murs on August 16. Head here for tickets.
Queens Of The Stone Age will also top the bill at Portsmouth's Victorious Festival on August 22, following a date at Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham on August 20 and US shows in June as part of their The End Is Nero Tour. Tickets are on sale now.
The group put out their most recent album, 'In Times New Roman', in 2023.
