Eels have shared a new single, If I'm Gonna Go Anywhere.
The spiralling track couples psychedelic elements with indie-rock and serves as the third preview of the band's new album, 'Eels Time!', following Goldy and Time. Introducing the song, bandleader Mark Oliver Everett, a.k.a. E, said: "If you’re gonna make a choice, why not make the nice choice?"
The follow-up to 2022's 'Extreme Witchcraft' and last year's 'EELS So Good: Essential EELS Vol.2 (2007-2020)' compilation is due out on June 7 via E Works/Play It Again Sam. It was recorded at studios in Los Feliz, California and Dublin, Ireland, and features guest spots from Koool G Murder, The Chet, Tyson Ritter, and Sean Coleman.
