Beabadoobee has shared a second single from her upcoming album.
Coming Home will appear on the Rick Rubin-produced 'This Is How Tomorrow Moves', which is set to land on August 16 via Dirty Hit. It follows the record's lead single Take A Bite, and finds the London-based singer-songwriter drawing influence from her love of The Beatles, with an introspective approach, soft vocals, light strumming of an acoustic guitar and whimsical production. She said:
"I wrote it in a hotel room in LA when I was away from my boyfriend, my loved ones, my two cats. It opens with all the little mundane things like doing the dishes, that I miss because I’m always away. Really, it’s just a cute little love song with a weird non-existent structure."
Beabadoobee will support the follow-up to 2022's 'Beatopia' with a North American tour in September. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time today (June 6).
Before the trek, she'll support Mitski at London's All Points East on August 18, and headline the Radio 1 stage at Reading andLeeds later that month.
