Will Smith has released a new song, You Can Make It.
Featuring the Sunday Service Choir, and artists Chandler Moor and Kirk Franklin, the rousing gospel-tinged hip hop track marks his first new solo music since 2017, when he put out Get Lit.
Smith, an Academy Award-winning actor and four-time Grammy Award-winning rapper, performed the single during the BET Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles last night (June 30).
It follows his recent Sean Paul collaboration, Light 'Em Up, his first release in almost five years, which features on the soundtrack for his latest film, Bad Boys: Ride Or Die.
Smith's most recent studio album is 2005's 'Lost And Found'. In 2022, the actor found himself the focus of many news headlines after he slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars, following a joke he made about his wife, actor and musician Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Will Smith debuted his new song at the BET Awards.
