Tuesday, 02 July 2024 Written by Jon Stickler

Eminem has announced that his new record will arrive this summer.

The Detroit hip hop giant's highly anticipated 12th studio album, 'The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)', will arrive on July 12. The rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, confirmed the news with a trailer, which sees a woman giving birth to a demon baby.

News of the project comes alongside the release of its fiery second single, Tobey, which features frequent collaborator Big Sean and BabyTron, marking the first time all three Michigan natives have joined forces on a track. An accompanying Cole Bennett-directed video is set to arrive on Friday (July 5).

Eminem previously teased the follow-up to 2020's 'Music To Be Murdered By' with the track Houdini in May, a callback to his 2002 single Without Me.
