Jade Thirlwall has released her debut solo single.
Angel Of My Dreams explores the 31-year-old's love/hate relationship with the pop industry, which she has been involved with since her former band Little Mix launched in 2011. Starting with a sample of Sandie Shaw's Puppet On A String before morphing into a melodic pop ballad, the track then evolves into a production-heavy dance banger.
The shape-shifting offering follows the debut solo releases from her Little Mix mates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards, who previously dropped their respective singles Don't Say Love and Forget About Us.
Pinnock put out her debut solo EP, 'No Hard Feelings', in June of this year, while details of a solo album from Edwards are still to be revealed.
Little Mix, meanwhile, began an indefinite hiatus back in 2022 that is still ongoing.
