Man/Woman/Chainsaw have announced their debut EP with a new single.

A favourite in the group's live sets, Ode To Clio serves as the first preview of the hyped quintet's debut EP, 'Eazy Peazy', due out on November 8 through Fat Possum Records, who they've recently signed with.

Vocalist-guitarist Billy Ward said of their writing sessions, "we thrive on the thin line between pretty and noisy, often trying to jump between the two - it’s that chaos that excites us."

Building though Clio Starwood's violin melodies from gentle folk-rock to an uproarious punky climax, Ode To Clio was recorded with Daniel Fox of Gilla Band at Eastbourne's Echo Zoo studio. The band said:

"It took us a year to write and it’s a nonsensical collage of people and relationships we’ve encountered throughout that time - moving from serene to tumultuous, all held together by Clio's overarching violin melody. We think it’s the centerpiece of the EP, it encapsulates the range of the sound palette we work with."

Ahead of the EP's release, the band will play a series of headline shows following slots at Green Man Festival and Manchester's Psych Fest. They also have gigs coming up supporting Thus Love and Dream Wife.

'Eazy Peazy' tracklist:

1. The Boss
2. Sports Day
3. Maegan
4. Ode To Clio
5. Grow A Tongue In Time
6. EZPZ
