Nightwish Continue To Tease Upcoming Album 'Yesterwynde' With New Song The Day Of...

Nightwish have unveiled a new song.
The Day Of... is the second preview of the Finnish symphonic prog-metallers' new album, 'Yesterwynde', which is due out on September 20. The first single, Perfume Of The Timeless, was shared in late April.
The latest song deals in rich sonic textures, heavy yet theatrical movements and vital vocals, from both Floor Jansen and a children's choir. The band's main songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen commented:
"'The Day Of...' delivers a message of hope and deliverance from the deluge of fear and misery we are subjected to on a daily basis. And even though it's a long road to a dreamworld, there are no monsters under the bed; as the children in the song joyously remind us."
