Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars Release New Single Die With A Smile

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have joined forces for a new single.
Die With A Smile is a grandiose ballad which arrives with a '60s-themed video that finds both artists giving an impassioned performance alongside eachother and a band. Explaining how the collaboration came about, Lady Gaga said:
“Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and were talking about collaborating. I was finishing up my own album in Malibu and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on. It was around midnight when I got there and I was blown away when I heard what he had started making. We stayed up all night and finished writing and recording the song. Bruno’s talent is beyond explanation. His musicianship and vision is next level. There’s no one like him.”
“Getting to work with Gaga has been an honor," Mars added. "She’s an icon and she makes this song magical. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.”
Gaga is currently working on the follow-up to 2020's 'Chromatica', as well as the 2022 Top Gun: Maverick sundtrack and 2021's 'Love For Sale' with the late Tony Bennett.
Mars, meanwhile, recently extended his Las Vegas residency into December due to demand. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time today (August 16). He released his latest solo album, '24K Magic', in 2016, but also put out 'An Evening With Silk Sonic' with Anderson .Paak in 2021.
In between his two Vegas runs, Mars will play shows in Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as an extensive run in Brazil that features 14 concerts across five venues. Prior to that, he'll headline the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California tonight, having also played there yesterday. Tickets for those concerts are already on sale.
