Texas have announced a run of outdoor UK shows for next summer.
The Scottish band will take over Lincoln Castle on June 15, followed by a date at Llangollen Pavilion on June 26, headlining Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. They'll also perform at The Piece Hall in Halifax on July 25 as part of the Live At The Piece Hall series, and Scarborough Open Air Theatre on July 26. Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday (October 4).
It was previously announced that Texas will appear at the 2025 edition of the Isle Of Wight Festival. They'll also team-up with fellow Scottish rockers Simple Minds to co-headline Lytham Festival in Lancashire on July 6. Tickets for that date are on sale now.
Texas have been announced as the headliners for Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2024 celebrations, taking place on December 31.
The group released 'The Very Best Of 1989 – 2023' in summer 2023. In March of this year, they put out a joint record with American songwriter and pianist Spooner Oldham, 'The Muscle Shoals Sessions', recorded during the summer of 2022 at the legendary Fame Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. It features 12 stripped back, reimagined Texas songs, as well as a number of minimal covers. Head here for more details.
