Coheed and Cambria have shared a new song, Blind Side Sonny.

Propelled by high-energy guitar riffs with fierce vocals from frontman Claudio Sanchez, it marks one of their most aggressive tracks to date, as well as heralding a new chapter for the New York prog-rockers.

Head below to view the song's Max Moore-directed video, which introduces a new character into the band's ongoing The Amory Wars / Vaxis storyline, the sci-fi opera concept carried over across all of their albums. Sanchez commented:

"Blind Side Sonny is a song about revenge. What may seem like an innocent choice to someone could be the breeding ground of another’s malicious misunderstanding. Perception can be your worst enemy."

Following their North American tour with Incubus and a co-headline run of dates with Primus, Coheed And Cambria will headline Furnace Fest in Alabama this weekend, before an appearance at When We Were Young Festival later in the month. They'll also top the bill of Australia's touring Monolith Festival in November.

Coheed And Cambria released their latest album, 'Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind', in 2022.
