Rick Astley To Perform Swing And Festive Classics At Big Band UK Shows In December

Rick Astley has announced a run of special big band UK shows for December.
The Never Gonna Give You Up singer will perform swing and festive classics at Brighton Centre, Civic At The Halls in Wolverhampton, Portsmouth's Guidhall, London's Royal Albert Hall, Edinburgh's Usher Hall and Manchester's Bridgewater Hall between December 13 and 20.
The Swinging Christmas 2024 shows will see the 58-year-old indugling one of his long-running passions, the golden age of big band and swing. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (October 11). Confirming the dates, he said:
"These classic songs have been a part of me for so long. Singing them with a big band was a dream come true. I can't wait to share this special experience with you again this Christmas. See you there!"
Astley kicks off his new autobiography book tour, Never: An Evening with Rick Astley, with a show at Manchester's Bridgwater Hall tonight (October 7). Tickets for those dates are on sale now. The book will be released on Thursday (October 10).
The British singer-songwriter put out his latest album, 'Are We There Yet?', in 2023.
