Shawn Mendes Pushes Back 'Shawn' Release, Announces For Friends And Family Only Concert Film

Shawn Mendes has pushed back the release of his new album.
'Shawn' will now arrive on November 15 instead of the previously announced October 18. The Canadian singer-songwriter confirmed the news with a post on his social media channels, revealing the record has been delayed to allow, "more time to bring some new inspiration and ideas to life."
The 26-year-old will perform the album in full at a handful of North American shows in October and November. He'll also headline Corona Capital festival in Mexico City on November 16.
He'll also debut the album in select cinemas worldwide on November 14, the day before its official release, as part of a one-night-only screening of his new concert film, Shawn Mendes: For Friends And Family Only (A Live Concert Film).
Tickets for the film, which features Mendes performing his fifth studio album in full at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, New York, go on sale at 2pm BST on October 24 via the official website, FriendsandFamilyFilm.com.
