L.S. Dunes have laid out plans for their second studio album.
The post-hardcore supergroup will release 'Violet' through Fantasy Records on January 31, following up their 2022 debut, 'Past Lives'. Guitarist Travis Stever, also of Coheed And Cambria, said:
"'Violet' is a sonic journey into the depths of every band member of L.S. Dunes. The collaborative efforts to bring each song to a full potential came naturally.
"It’s the album that has always lived in us individually but could only be made together. It has melodies that have lived within me since I was a child. It was only with this band I would be able to find a place where they could find a home in song."
Co-produced by the group with Will Yip, it'll feature recent single Fatal Deluxe, as well as the newly shared Machines, which offers hypnotic guitar leads from Stever and Frank Iero, underpinned by a prominent bass line from Thursday's Tim Payne. Head below to view the accompanying video, co-directed by David Brodsky and Iero.
L.S. Dunes—completed by Anthony Green of Circa Survive and Thursday's Tucker Rule—will perform at When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas this weekend.
They're also supporting Rise Against on their current North American tour, and were recently confirmed as support for the Chicago punks' newly announced UK and European dates next year. Tickets for those go on general sale at 10am local time on October 23.
'Violet' tracklist:
1. Like Magick

4. Violet
5. Machines
6. You Deserve To Be Haunted
7. Holograms
