The legendary British band will top the bill of the London concert series on July 13, having previously headlined back in 2014 with their first festival performance in 30 years. A supporting line-up is to be announced in due course.
BST Hyde Park have billed the performance as "the final show" from the group, who are best known for their '70s and '80s hits Livin' Thing, Mr Blue Sky, Last Train To London, Telephone Line and Evil Woman. Lynne commented:
"My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014. It seems like the perfect place to do our final show. We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our UK fans. As the song goes, 'we’re gonna do it One More Time!'"
ELO have released 14 studio albums together, the latest being 'From Out Of Nowhere' in 2019, as well as multiple live LPs and compilations.
They're currently on a farewell US tour, billed as The Over And Out Tour, which wraps up at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday (October 26).
Earlier this year, BST Hyde Park hosted performances from Kings Of Leon, Morgan Wallen, Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams, Shania Twain, Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue, and Stray Kids.
