Sade has shared her first new song in six years, Young Lion.

The poignant piano-led ballad is dedicated to her son, Izaak (a trans man), and will appear on an upcoming 46-track compilation album, 'TRAИƧA: Selects', which gathers nearly 100 artists to celebrate the trans/non-binary community.

The ambitious project is also teased with a cover of Prince's I Would Die 4 U by London singer Lauren Auder and Wendy and Lisa of The Revolution, and Sam Smith's new version of Ever New with original writer Beverly Glenn-Copeland.

Another two tracks have also been shared today, a cover of Anohni's People Are Small / Rapture by L'Rain and the NYC Trans Oral History Project, and André 3000's 26-minute instrumental titled Something Is Happening And I May Not Fully Understand But I’m Happy To Stand For The Understanding.

Other artists contributing to the near four-hour collection include Moses Sumney, Jeff Tweedy, Laura Jane Grace and Lee Ranaldo. It'll arrive on November 22 via the New York-based not-for-profit label Red Hot.

Sade's last studio album was 2010's 'Soldier Of Love'. Her most recent singles are Flower Of The Universe from the soundtrack for the film A Wrinkle in Time, and The Big Unknown from the soundtrack to Widows, both released in 2018.
