Shawn Mendes has released a new single, Heart Of Gold.
The emotive acoustic guitar-led track marks the latest preview of the Canadian singer-songwriter's fifth studio album, 'Shawn', due out on November 15. He said of the song:
"Grief is a really, really difficult thing to deal with and a huge part of what has helped me has been celebrating that person. I would just like to dedicate this song to anyone out there who has lost someone - some who has passed or someone who’s alive - whichever way. This is for them."

Mendes will perform 'Shawn' in its entirety at special shows in Berlin on November 13, and Toronto on November 25. He'll also debut the album in select cinemas worldwide on November 14, as part of a one-night-only screening of his new concert film, Shawn Mendes: For Friends And Family Only (A Live Concert Film).
