Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs will hit the road again next spring for a UK and European tour.
The Newcastle band have lined up shows in Brighton, London, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, Birkenhead, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Paris, Cologne, Düdingen, Munich, Leipzig, Berlin and Hamburg between April 3 and May 28. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (November 15).
The quintet have also released a new single, Detroit, which vocalist Matt Baty explained, "reflects on the worst manifestations of male jealousy and resentment, and the ways in which a lack of accountability can lead to deflecting responsibility in exchange for blaming external forces like fate or God for perceived injustice.”
The bone-shaking doom track is their first new music since the release of their latest album, 'Land of Sleeper', in February 2023. It also follows up the Record Store Day vinyl release of their 2023 KEXP session, which has now surpassed 1,000,000 views.
