Courting will release their third album in the spring.
Less than a year after dropping 'New Last Name', the Liverpool band have confirmed its follow-up, 'Lust for Life, Or: 'How To Thread The Needle And Come Out The Other Side To Tell The Story'', will arrive through Lower Third on March 14.
Explaining their approach on the new LP, vocalist Sean Murphy-O'Neill said: "We wanted to keep everything incredibly direct — to hit everyone in the face and leave."
The straight-shooting style is showcased on the punchy indie-rock lead single, Pause At You, which offers wild guitar work courtesy of guitarist Josh Cope. Head below to view the accompanying video directed by Charlie Barclay Harris.
Murphy-O'Neill added: "Pause At You is a culmination of everything we’ve been working on over the last few years — an observation on night time paranoia mixed about with night out ecstasy. Light outing, floor filling, tie undressing, rock."
Courting will support their new record with a UK tour next spring. Tickets go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (November 22). They were also recently announced as one of the first acts for next year's inaugural Together Again Festival in Chester.
