The Wombats have shared a new song.
My Head Is Not My Friend marks the third preview of the Liverpool trio's new album, 'Oh! The Ocean', due out on February 21. Introducing the track, frontman Matthew "Murph" Murphy said:
"My Head Is Not My Friend is a song about the idea that maybe I don't actually have my best interests at heart."
The band will support their sixth studio album with a spring UK and European tour, featuring support from Everything Everything and Red Rum Club.
In the summer, they'll play a hometown show at the Pier Head on June 19 as part of Liverpool's On The Waterfront concert series, with support from Pale Waves and Sawyer Hill. They'll also appear at Kendal Calling festival in Cumbria, the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington, and headline Thursday's bill of Y Not? Festival in Derbyshire. Tickets are on sale now.
