Everyone Says Hi have shared a new song, Lucky Stars.

The acoustic, heartfelt ballad blends soaring vocals and sweeping string arrangements for the fifth single from the band's self-titled debut album, due out on January 31. Introducing the track, frontman Nick Hodgson said:

"I’ve written a lot of my favourite songs in my old flat in Leeds. There’s definitely something special about the place for me. I decided to stay there for a few days and write. This song and Brain Freeze came out. Lucky Stars is a love song pure and simple!"

Formed in 2024 by Kaiser Chiefs' former drummer and songwriter Hodgson, Everyone Says Hi also features bassist Pete Denton, formerly of The Kooks, drummer Glenn Moule of The Howling Bells, Ben Gordon from The Dead 60s on keyboards, and Leeds guitarist Tom Dawson.

The group dropped their debut single, Brain Freeze, last April, followed by Somebody Somewhere, Only One and On The Same Side.

The four-piece will tour the new record with dates in January and February, supporting Independent Venue Week alongside a number of in-store dates. Head here for details.
