Spice, Bashy And Krept & Konan Confirmed As First Performers For MOBO Awards 2025

The first live performers have been revealed for this year's MOBO Awards.
Jamaican dancehall star Spice, British rap duo Krept & Konan, and West London rapper Bashy will all take to the stage at the annual celebration of black music and culture, with the ceremony taking place in the North East for the first time, at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on February 18. Tickets are on sale now.
MOBO Founder and CEO Kanya King CBE said:
"We’re thrilled to announce the first wave of performers for the 2025 MOBO Awards in Newcastle. Each of these artists brings something truly special to the stage, and this is just the beginning. From the vibrant energy of dancehall to the dynamic sounds of UK rap and R&B, we’re curating a night full of unforgettable moments. This year’s show is shaping up to be one of our most electrifying yet, and we can’t wait to reveal more incredible talent as we count down to February 18. This is a celebration you won’t want to miss!”
The ceremony will be live-streamed on the official MOBO Awards YouTube channel, with a BBC One Special to follow.
The nominations for the MOBO Awards were unveiled in December. Nominees for Best Album include Sol for 'Gold', Ghetts for 'On Purpose, With Purpose', Jorja Smith for 'Falling Or Flying', Sampha for 'Lahai', Skrapz for 'Reflection', and Bashy for 'Being Poor Is Expensive'.
Bashy will also battle Central Cee, Ghetts, Sampha, D-Block Europe and Nemzzz for Best Male Act. He's also up for Best Hip Hop Act. Sol, Smith, Darkoo, Little Simz, Nia Archives and Raye are up for Best Female Act.
Spice will face off against Popcaan, Shenseea, Skillibeng, Valiant and YG Marley for Best Caribbean Music Act.
Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Asake, Ayra Starr, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Tems, Latto, and Tyla will go up against each other for Best International Act.
