Seventeen have teamed up with Pharrell Williams for a new single, Bad Influence.
The upbeat song was created specifically for the soundtrack accompanying fashion house Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2025 recent runway show at Paris Fashion Week.
S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The 8, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino from the 13-strong K-Pop group performed on the song, which blends elements of R&B and pop with each member's unique vocal style. They said in a statement:
"We are happy and honored to collaborate with Pharrell Williams, whom we have deeply admired for a long time. We truly enjoyed the creative process which showcases a new side of ourselves. We hope to connect with more listeners worldwide through this collaboration."
The song was written and produced by 13-time Grammy-winner Williams, who serves as the Men's Creative Director of Louis Vuitton. The soundtrack also features other songs he produced, including Don Toliver and J-Hope's LV Bag, and The Weeknd's Timeless featuring Playboi Carti.
Seventeen released their 12th mini album, 'Spill The Feels', in October, followed by their fourth Japanese single, Shohikigen, and several remixes of their 'Spill The Feels' track Love, Money, Fame featuring DJ Khaled.
Pharrell released his animated Lego biopic, Piece By Piece, and the accompanying soundtrack in 2024. He put out his second solo studio album, 'G I R L', in 2014, and served as producer and songwriter for the 2016 film Hidden Figures, composing the soundtrack with Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch. He's also worked with various artists on numerous singles since then.
