James Bay Shares New Single Sunshine In The Room Featuring Jon Batiste

James Bay has teamed up with Jon Batiste for a new single, Sunshine In The Room.
The uplifting indie-pop bop offers a sunny combination of guitars, piano, horns and handclaps, and marks the three-time Grammy-nominated and BRIT Award-winning artist's first collaboration with the Louisiana native. Bay said:
"Working with Jon Batiste for Sunshine In The Room is an experience I will never ever forget. He literally burst into the studio like a ray of sunshine and brought so much joy to the sound of the record and the work. He’s a total inspiration, and I hope we can work together again. The song is about having someone in your life who truly lights up the room as soon as they walk in."
Five-time Grammy-winner, Batiste added: "James is such a beautiful soul and a great musician. Grateful to make a new friend and create music together. Really excited for the world to hear this song, it's impossible to not love the vibes on this one!"
The song arrives ahead of the UK and Ireland leg of Bay's Up All Night Tour, which includes his biggest headline show to date at the OVO Arena Wembley on February 13. The tour shares its name with the singer-songwriter track of the same name featuring The Lumineers and Noah Kahan which opens his 2024 album, 'Changes All The Time'.
Following that, he'll embark on a North American tour that runs between April 21 and May 28, and includes an appearance at Boston Calling festival. He'll also support Stereophonics at Belfast's Ormeau Park on June 5, before joining The Script at Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick on July 12. Tickets are on sale now.
