Tim Minchin has announced a UK tour that will celebrate 20 years since his arrival on the British comedy scene.
The Australian comedian, musician and composer will kick off the Songs The World Will Never Hear Tour on June 4 at the Soho Theatre, London. He'll then head to Plymouth, Birmingham, Leicester, Sheffield, Hull, Cardiff, Nottingham, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Oxford and Brighton, before wrapping up the run back in London on July 4 at the Eventim Apollo. He said:
"Incredibly, many of my UK fans have been by my side for two decades. They have never flinched as I’ve turned corners and reinvented myself, always engaging open-heartedly with whatever I have to offer.
"I’m the luckiest artist on the planet, and I can’t wait to be back to deliver a big joyous show, spanning the whole bloody thing."
The show will see Minchin reflecting on his career, which has seen him rise from a cabaret pianist in Perth to an internationally acclaimed musician, comedian and theatre composer. The set list will span three decades of songwriting. Tickets go on general sale at 12pm on Friday (February 7).
Minchin's last tour, Back, ran from March 2019 to January 2022, and marked his first new show after a seven-year hiatus from touring.
