Tim Minchin is a comedian and musician born in Northampton, but based in Melbourne.

Incorporating piano skills and intelligent lyrics into his stand-up routines, this unique skill has taken him across the world. He launched his hugely successful first show, Dark Side, while studying at the University of Western Australia, which pushed him into the public eye and earned him a spot at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Since then, he’s made more than a living taking his diverse stage productions on tour across the globe, picking up numerous awards and fans along the way. He’s even built up quite the discography too, having released six full LPs of comedy music and his first solo studio album, 'Together Apart', in November 2020. He also composed the music and lyrics for the multi award-winning West End show Matilda The Musical, and Groundhog Day The Musical.
