Blackweir Live organisers have revealed Noah Kahan as the second headliner for its inaugural edition this summer. Noah Kahan tickets go on general sale at 9.30am today.
Following the announcement of the first headliners Kings Of Leon, who will be joined by Courteeners on June 29, the Cardiff concert series have confirmed that the Vermont singer-songwriter (pictured) will top the bill at the Blackweir Fields in the Welsh capital on June 27.
£1 from every ticket will be donated to The Busyhead Project, a mental health initiative founded by Kahan.
The performance will precede the two-time Grammy nominee’s previously scheduled and now sold-out shows at Dublin’s Marlay Park on July 1 and BST Hyde Park in London on July 4.
Kahan put out a live album, ’Live From Fenway Park’, last summer, following up his 2022 breakthrough album, ’Stick Season’.
He’ll also headline US festivals BottleRock Napa Valley in California in May, and both Bourbon & Beyond in Kentucky and Oceans Calling Festival in Maryland in September.
Kahan is nominated for a BRIT Award in the International Song of the Year category for Stick Season. Head here for more details and a full list of nominees. The awards ceremony will take place at the O2 Arena in London on March 1, and will be broadcast live on ITV1 and streaming service ITVX.
