Underworld will play a show for the Heritage Live concert series this summer.
The British electronic music duo of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith will perform at the Audley End Estate in Saffron Walden on August 3, following DJ sets from Simian Mobile Disco, Groove Armada, Hot Chip, and Fish56octagon.
Tickets go on general sale from 9am on April. Giles Cooper OBE from Heritage Live said:
“We're absolutely thrilled to be able to welcome the legendary Underworld to Heritage Live Festivals. It's been a huge ambition of us all to have them perform in the stunning grounds of Audley End… and what a line-up of special guests! This is going to be awesome, and one of those nights etched in our memories forever - a real 'I was there!" gig. Don't forget to book Monday off work!"
Also set to headline Heritage Live shows this summer are Mariah Carey, The Beach Boys, Ministry Of Sound Classical, The Jacksons, Pet Shop Boys, Manic Street Preachers and Roger Daltrey. Tickets for those dates are already on sale, except for Ministry of Sound Classical, tickets for which go on general sale at 9am next Thursday (April 3).
Underworld, whose latest album is 2024's 'Strawberry Hotel', already have a busy spring and summer ahead, with previously confirmed shows and festival sets in the US, UK and Europe, including a headline slot at Green Man festival in Wales this August.
