Employed To Serve have shared another single from their upcoming album.
Breaks Me Down marks the third preview of 'Fallen Star', following on from the previously unveiled title track and the first single, Atonement with Lorna Shore's Will Ramos. Head here for more details on the record.
In a similar vein to their previous singles, the new track explores positive themes, this time focusing on inner strength through cathartic, emotive vocals from Justine Jones, while Sammy Urwin and David Porter pile on the metalcore riffs. Jones explained:
"Breaks Me Down deals with the uncertainty of death and what it means for us left here on earth when someone you love passes beyond the veil. It is something we will all experience at some point in our lives and yet there is no one handbook that can guide you through the experience of grief. That being said, it makes life more precious and motivates you to make the most of the time we have with the people we love."
The British band will release the follow-up to 2021's 'Conquering' on April 25 via Spinefarm. They'll accompany the release with a previously scheduled UK tour, featuring support from Celestial Sanctuary and Burner. They'll also play 2000trees festival in July. Tickets are on sale now.
