Public Enemy have announced their first UK performance in almost a decade.
Chuck D and Flavor Flav will take to the stage for a "once in a lifetime evening" at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 27. The exclusive, one-off show will commemorate the 35th anniversary of their seminal anthem, Fight The Power. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (April 4).
Chuck D said: "We are honored to have this opportunity to stand on the Royal Albert Hall stage and perform under the same renowned roof that the greats from Hendrix to Pavarotti, from the Beatles to my brothers Cypress Hill have. Thank you, London. We’ll see you soon."
Famous for their hugely influential, revolutionary songs, the hip hop pioneers released their latest studio album, ’What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down?’, in 2020.
Ahead of their London show, Public Enemy will appear at BottleRock Napa Valley festival in California and Boston Calling in May. They’ll also support Guns N’ Roses at shows across Europe in July. Tickets are on sale now.
