Thursday, 08 June 2006 Written by Stereoboard.com
ImageBloc Party have revealed further details on their upcoming second album.

The band are currently in the studio working on the album with producer Jacknife Lee (U2, Editors), and expect the album to be complete by the end of the summer.

Some of the tracks confirmed to appear on the new album are ‘Waiting For 718’, ‘Uniform’, ‘England’, ‘Perfect Teens’ and ‘Song For Clay’. ‘Kreuzberg’ and ‘Cells Shaped Like Stars’ may also make the final cut, but no decision has been made on these 2 tracks as yet.

On the album progress, Okereke said: "We haven't finished recording; I guess we're about halfway through."

The as-yet-untitled album will be the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Silent Alarm’, and is expected to be released late 2006/early 2007.
