Radiohead are ready to drop a bomb on the music industry by releasing their upcoming new album on their own indepedent label.
The band's deal with Parlophone has now ended and singer Thom Yorke confirmed the band are weighing up a number of options for their next album.
Speaking to the LA Times Yorke conceded that releasing independently was an option being considered, he said ""We have two or three options, and that's one. Once we finish whatever we think is good enough to put out, then we'll start thinking about it. We haven't discussed it a great deal."
The singer added: "I would love for us to drop a chemical weapon within the music industry. But I don't see it as our responsibility, either."
