Vampire Weekend have revealed details of the follow-up to their breakthrough self-titled debut album.
The New York band, who came out of nowhere in 2008 with the critically acclaimed debut, will release 'Contra' on January 11th.
Tracklisting for 'Contra' looks like this:
'Horchata'
'White Sky'
'Holiday'
'California English'
'Taxi Cab'
'Run'
'Cousins'
'Giving Up the Gun'
'Diplomat's Son'
'I Think Ur a Contra'
The band have also confirmed that the artwork floating around on the Interweb last week of a vintage photo, with a blonde girl in a white shirt, will be the artwork for 'Contra'.
Frontman Ezra Koenig said this about the new album, "Just like the first album, I'm really excited how everything is tied in musically, lyrically and especially aesthetically."
