Vasco Rossi is a Godzilla-sized rock star in his home country of Italy. Inaccurately dubbed the Italian Bruce Springsteen (by me, just then), Rossi has an uncanny knack of selling out vast stadiums with little effort. Rossi has published 21 successful albums and written over 130 songs and the distinctive Rossi shout has been echoing around Italy since 1977. Click here for tickets.
‘The King of the Stadiums’ is bringing his show to the shores of the UK for the first time in his 30-year career. Back in the 80s, Rossi shook the Italian music scene up with painfully honest personal and social lyrics that caused a sh*t-storm of controversy and had a number of high-profile journos gunning for him. None have ever managed to bring him down and the fans have loved him ever since.
Make your own mind up about Rossi. He’ll be playing at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on Tuesday 4th May. Tickets go on-sale at 9am on Friday 2nd October. Click Here to Compare & Buy Vasco Rossi Tickets
