Steel Panther Answer Your Questions in Live Video Chat

The parody rockers that claim to have “f*cked your mom in the 80s” Steel Panther conducted a live video chat yesterday evening with MySpace Music, answering your questions.

The band are in the UK this week for a series of gigs across the country, with shows in Newcastle tonight, London on Friday and Sheffield on Saturday night.

Steel Panther are a Spinal Tap-like parody heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California and are mostly known for their humorous lyrics. Formed in 2000, the band has formerly been known as Danger Kitty, Metal Shop and Metal Skool.

Steel Panther ironically declared themselves as a ‘glam metal band that failed to gain mainstream success during the '80s’. However, thanks to the use of hair-sprayed looks, leather jackets and zebra spandex and to their experience in the Van Halen tribute band, they finally managed to gain success.

Due to their increased popularity their live performances began to reflect their growing fan-base, including hot music celebrities that appeared on stage with them, including Drew Carey, Justin Hawkins, Kelly Clarkson, Billy Ray Cyrus, P!nk and Avril Lavigne.

Steel Panther succeeded in becoming one of the most popular cover bands in the U.S., winning the title of "Best Tribute Band in the Universe”

We asked the band "What was the most Rock'N'Roll thing they've ever done?" Watch the webcast now to find out how Steel Panther replied.
