Release Date For The Chemical Brothers New Album 'Further'

British dance duo The Chemical Brothers have announced that June 7th will be the release date of their new album ‘Further’.

The Chemical Brothers are probably the most successful export in the history of British dance music. Formed during the aftermath of a hedonistic night out in the Hacienda, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons have crafted a stunning mix of styles that have gone on to conquer the world.

Having released their 2007 album ‘We Are The Night’, which added a rock edge to house and techno, The Chemical Brothers announced they were to take a break after what was their fifth consecutive British number one album.

Rejoining last year, the pair have come up with another eight pulsating tracks which have raised the bar on what we have come to expect from the dance duo. Released in conjunction with eight short films written to correspond to the music, The Chemical Brothers new album ‘Further’ will extend their trademark sounds into new directions.

Being described as one of their most experimental releases, ‘Further’ moves from Beach Boys harmonies to relentless Krautrock rhythms and has been labelled by critics as a “stunning” return.

The films are expected to make their debuts at a forthcoming sold-out residency at London’s Roundhouse later this year in May.
