Nirvana fans worldwide can now relax, as Courtney Love has dismissed reports that Robert Pattinson could play Kurt Cobain in a biopic.
Everybody’s ‘favourite’ vampire was being touted by the Tabloids as the “number one choice” to play the late, great Nirvana singer, but Love tweeted to the world “I might despair and hey I like R-Patz, but he’s not right for KC!”.
Chatting to the Canadian Press, Love added “I watched the Twilight stuff very, very recently and I get it, it resonates with the teenage girl in me, I understand the epic love of that nature; I write about it all the time. But isn’t that silly?”.
The biopic, Heavier Than Heaven, boasts Cobain’s ex Courtney Love as an executive producer, and is now reported to favour the excellent British actor James McAvoy, with Scarlett Johannsson said to play Love.
I think we all agree that the new preferred cast looks a bit healthier; it most definitely makes us feel less nauseous and filled with hate.
