Stop what you’re doing and listen up - we’ve got a very important and saddening announcement to make...The Fratellis have split up.
Lead singer John Lawler, posted a note on the band’s website saying “we have no plans to work together right now. Sometimes things just work out that way. Mince, Baz and I are working on music but not with each other”. Lawler is currently busy with Codeine Velvet Club, whilst drummer Mince is playing with metal band Throne o’Diablo.
Crocodile tears and indifference aside, fans have paid tribute on their site, with one posting “You guys changed my life. Thank you for the wonderful music, memories and everything else”.
So keep changing lives guys, you modern day jesus bastards.
