Sir Tom Jones To Perform At Norwich City Football Club & Tickets

To coincide with his 70th birthday, Welsh crooner Tom Jones has announced he will be heading to Norwich City Football Club’s Carrow Road for a one night only gig on Saturday 5th June.
The superstar is set to play to a 20,000 audience on the green green grass of Carrow Road just two days before his 70th birthday. Sir Tom has not been the only big star to perform at the venue however. In recent years both Elton John in 2005 and George Michael in 2007 have made appearances at the football club.
The pitch and stadium will be transformed into a concert arena for one night only and no doubt fans will be treated to a fantastic medley of old classics from the singer.
Sales marketing manager at Norwich City Football Club, Will Hoy said: "We're absolutely delighted that he'll be coming to Carrow Road, we think it's great for the football club, great for the city and the county and we're just absolutely delighted that it's come to fruition."
Norwich City joint-majority shareholder Delia Smith couldn’t contain her excitement when asked about the news that the world-famous singer was coming to Norfolk. “It's fantastic news that someone of Sir Tom Jones' calibre is coming to perform at our stadium. He's one of pop's consummate all-round performers and always gives a great live show. As my mum and my husband are both Welsh they are especially delighted and we can't wait to welcome him to the green, green grass of Carrow Road.”
The welsh singing legend has clocked-up a career spanning five decades and has had a countless number of smash hits across the world.
