INTRODUCING: Will And The People

Summer's here and with it comes a limited edition release of Will And The People's debut album 'Morning Sun' on July 19th.

Originally scheduled for a late summer release the band have given into relentless demands for the record to be available from both fans and media who have followed the rise of this kaleidoscopic collective since 2008.

It's been a busy year for Will And The People with tours across UK and Europe, stadium shows with Girls Aloud, gigs in fields and gigs on boats, Glastonbury to Monaco and beyond. Despite a ruthless live schedule they also had the initiative to set up their own recording studio in Brixton and self produce this album.

Early demos of the tracks have already attracted big interest from labels across the pond and on home turf too, but experience has shown sometimes it's best to do things your own way and it's clear to see that the miles travelled and shows played in the last 12 months have had a big impact on the sound of the band.

Will's song writing has developed in a way that naturally harnesses a huge influence of sounds into a more mature, yet playful progression of the rag-pop this band have become so revered for. Live show comparisons with artists such as; Paolo Nutini, Vampire Weekend, Madness and The Clash are constantly levelled at the band and a quick search on YouTube will reveal at the very least, the reason so many people find Will such a captivating performer to watch.

Will and the People's debut album 'Morning Sun' is available to buy on July 19th from www.baggytrousermusic.com and at all upcoming live shows.
