Dave Stewart is a singer-songwriter and producer from Sunderland.
Best known as a member of Eurythmics, he began his music career in 1971, performing in several groups before forming the band that made him famous globally in 1980. The group has a string of massive hits, including Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart), Thorn in My Side and Who's That Girl?. After Eurythmics split in 1990, he embarked on a solo career, and has since put out nine records to date. His most recent, 'Lucky Numbers', arrived in 2013.
