Dead Can Dance are an British-Australian world music group, consisting of Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry.
The project began in 1981, with the duo crafting more of their eclectic and genre-defying music, releasing seven studio albums before disbanding in 1998, briefly reuniting in 2005 for a world tour. They re-emerged for a second time in 2011, putting out their eighth album—and first in over 16 years—'Anastasis' the following year. Their most recent record, 'Dionysus', arrived in 2018.
