Destruction are a German thrash metal band from Weil am Rhein, consisting of founding members Marcel ‘Schmier’ Schirmer on vocals and bass and Mike Sifringer on guitar, alongside Wawrzyniec ‘Vaaver’ Dramowicz on drums.
Formed in 1982, the band released their debut album ‘Infernal Overkill’ in 1985, and have released a further 16 albums, the latest being 2019’s ‘Born To Perish’. In the past, the band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, Europe, South America and North America. Destruction have rescheduled their UK and European tour to winter 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
