Dope are an American heavy metal band from Villa Park, Illinois, consisting of Edsel Dope, Acey Slade, Racci "Sketchy" Shay and Virus.
Formed in 1997, the band released their debut album, ‘Felons and Revolutionaries’, in 1999, which was followed by ‘Life’ in 2001 and ‘Group Therapy’ in 2003. ‘American Apathy’ was released in 2003 with ‘No Regrets’, hitting the shelves in 2009. The band are set to release their latest album, ‘Blood Money, Part 1’ on October 28, 2016. Dope has announced a show at London’s O2 Academy Islington in November.
